A Cliffhanger in Sardinia....

   A cliffhanger...?  Yes, literally.  On our last day in Sardinia, we drove out to this enormous park called Parco Naturale Regionale di Porto Conte.  It is a beautiful, natural, and wild park, with lots of hiking trails, incredible vistas, Neptune's Grotto, and yes, sheer cliffs.....      Many of the hiking trails led to the un-guarded edge of rocky cliffs with steep drops straight to the sea.... the many, many steps down to Neptune's Grotto... A lighthouse on the cliff.... A tight squeeze.... A windy day....    We chose a hiking trail that we thought would be fairly quiet, and level.  It was, and we were surprised that it took us once again to the edge of un-guarded cliffs.... The "Warning...Danger" sign was laying on the ground.... We wondered if this was a prehistoric footprint....    It was an amazing park, and we were only able to exp...
